ABOUT ME
I used to be a librarian; I've always been a writer. Research is my passion. I'm especially interested in World War I, but I am also intrigued about daily life in Bible times as well as the history of the Rocky Mountain West.
With the exception of a single year of grad school at Texas Woman's University, I have spent my entire life in the square-shaped states of Wyoming and Colorado.
I am an avid reader, I love to bake (mostly desserts, mostly chocolate), and I like to take long, solitary walks.
I live in northern Colorado with my husband and our two cats, Tycho and T2.
This is the land my heart loves.
I was born and raised in northern Wyoming, never far away from mountains. Wyoming has a wild, rugged beauty that perhaps can't always be seen or appreciated by outsiders, but every time I cross the border into my home state, I feel my heart lift just a little.
This is my cat Tycho. She LOVES climbing into sock drawers. Snuggling with teddy bears is fun, too.
This is T2. We adopted him when he was a neighborhood stray. He's fourteen pounds of pure GOOFY. I love him awful.
